These are all natural quartz that have been color enhanced with cobalt sourced and mined in Brazil. This vendor exclusively sells at the Tucson Gem Show. They are a family owned business who has been in the industry for 30+ years! 

With my recent trip to the Tucson Gem Show, I was able to confirm with the suppliers who sell this material that this stone is color enhanced with Cobalt. The stone is a still 100% natural quartz, its starts with a gem grade rose quartz that is heated with Cobalt to create the lavender color. Because lavender moon quartz was created with the intention of being cut into jewelry pieces it makes sense that it is color enhanced as most jewelry/gems can be color enhanced and it is a common practice in the jewelry industry. My first 2 years buying this material there was a language barrier with the supplier who is an older gentleman who lives in Brazil, this year his daughter was there and she spoke English very well and was able to help clarify the color enhancement. Even though these are now confirmed to be color treated, they are still expensive and difficult to source.
