What is an open Box?
An open box allows you to place multiple orders and have them held to ship together to save on shipping and receive fewer boxes.
Shipping is not automatically removed — orders over $50 ship free, and orders under $50 can use the "addon" code at checkout.
- All orders automatically ship within 6–8 business days unless you specifically request to keep your box open. Even if you have multiple orders we will automatically ship them together.
- You do not need to leave an “open box” note if you plan to place another order within the standard 6–8 business day shipping window.
- Only leave an open box note if you plan to continue shopping for 2+ weeks (up to 3 months).
- If no request is made, your order will ship within our standard 6–8 business day timeframe.
Are "Open Box" and "Addon" Code the same thing?
No — they do two completely different things:
Open Box = I hold your items to ship later (combine multiple orders into one shipment to help reduce overall shipping)
Add-On Code = You skip paying shipping on this order.
For orders under $50, shipping won’t be removed automatically — you’ll just want to apply the add-on code at checkout
👉 If you want BOTH:
You must Comment "Open Box" in the comment section and use the "addon" code at checkout.
How long can an open box stay open?
• 30 days pass with no new orders added
• OR you reach $500 total in items
• OR you request shipment (leave a note with your order or email us!)
Whichever comes first.
How do I start an open box?
Just leave a note at checkout:
“Start open box”
(You only need to leave this note ONCE — not every order.)
How do I keep adding to my open box?
Simply check out normally.
No note required unless you're using a different name/email.
You can use code "addon" at checkout to remove any shipping fees for items under $50
Can I add items under $50 without paying shipping again?
Yes! Use code "addon" at checkout to remove shipping on orders under $50 while your box is open or you are placing multiple orders.

❌ Notes saying “add-on” will not remove shipping
What if I forget to use the "addon" code to remove the shipping fee?
We are unable to refund shipping after checkout.
You’re welcome to use the code on your next add-on order while your box is still open
How do I close my box + ship?
When you're ready for us to ship:
Leave a note at checkout: “Ship my box”

International Open Box Policy
Shipping is paid once at the start of your open box and covers your final shipment.
• Your box will automatically ship when it reaches:
– $400 in items OR
– 5 pounds in weight
– OR 30 days of inactivity
International Orders
International customers are responsible for understanding their local delivery regulations, import requirements, and consumer protections prior to placing an order. Cold Brew Crystals is not responsible for carrier delays, customs processing issues, or delivery errors once an order has been shipped.
How Do Launches Work?
All releases are first come, first serve. The first customer to successfully complete checkout and payment secures the item.
Many pieces — especially one-of-a-kind and Tucson items — sell out in under five minutes. If you love something, please complete checkout immediately to guarantee it is yours.
Adding an item to your cart does not reserve or hold it.
We do not have the ability to see, access, edit, or hold items in customer carts. We only receive and process orders once payment has been successfully completed. If checkout is not completed, we have zero visibility or control over the transaction.
Pre-Claim Policy
Pre-claims are not available for all launches (including certain gem show releases).
When pre-claims are offered:
• Requests must be emailed with the specific item(s) listed
• A $20 pre-claim fee applies for regular product launches
• Pre-claim invoices must be paid by 4:30 PM CST (three hours prior to the 7:30 PM CST launch)
We do not accept pre-claims during live launches.
YouTube Order Packing Requests
Orders must meet a minimum value of $50 to be eligible for a YouTube packing request.
To request YouTube packing, you must leave a note at checkout. We may not be able to accommodate requests made after an order is placed.
Please note that meeting the requirements does not guarantee your order will be featured.
If your order is selected for YouTube packing, processing time may extend to 10+ business days (or longer) due to filming and production schedules.
To allow other customers the opportunity to be featured, recently packed orders may not be selected again immediately.
Free Crystal Scoop Policy
Full-priced retail orders over $50 qualify for one complimentary crystal scoop.
Orders that include sale items or use discount codes do not qualify.
Crystal scoops are complimentary bonuses and are not guaranteed.
Gifting Policy
Orders over $250 may receive a complimentary gift, such as a crystal pen, specimen, or other crystal item.
Gifts vary and are not guaranteed.
Can I reserve a crystal on the website?
If you would like to reserve a crystal that is already listed on the website, you must first purchase a reserve at the designated Reserve listing

After purchasing your reserve, please email info@coldbrewcrystals.com with the direct link to the product you would like held.
Reserves are valid for 7 business days. You can purchase multiple listing to reserve the crystal for longer.
Once confirmed, we will update the product title to include your name. When you are ready to complete your purchase, simply search your name on the website and check out as normal.
While rare, if a reserved item is accidentally purchased by another customer, please email us immediately and we will assist you.
